Frequently asked questions

Does Sine connect to my bank?
No — and it never will. Sine has no bank linking, no card scanning through third-party aggregators, and no account. You add subscriptions yourself, and everything stays on your device. That privacy-first approach is the whole point.
How does the on-device import work?
Paste a billing email or screenshot and Sine reads the service, amount, cycle, and date entirely on your device using Apple's on-device intelligence. Nothing is ever sent to a server. You review and confirm every entry before it's saved.
Is Sine a subscription itself?
No. Sine is a one-time purchase — you buy it once and it's yours forever, with no recurring fee. You can try it free first, and there's no card required to start the trial. A subscription tracker shouldn't add to the pile.
Will my data sync across my devices?
Yes. Sine syncs privately through your own iCloud account, so your subscriptions stay in step across your iPhone and iPad — without you ever creating a Sine account.
Can I export my data?
Anytime. Sine exports a clean copy of your subscriptions from Settings, so your data is always yours to take with you — no lock-in.
Are there widgets, Siri, and Spotlight support?
Yes. Add Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets for your next renewals and monthly total, ask Siri when a service renews, and find any subscription from Spotlight search.
Can I set a budget and control reminders?
Yes. Set a monthly budget in Settings to see remaining or over-budget at a glance, and choose your default reminder lead time. You can also override the reminder timing per subscription.
My reminders don't seem to arrive.
First, make sure notifications are allowed for Sine in the iOS Settings app. Sine schedules reminders locally and refreshes them when you open the app, so launching it once will bring everything back in sync. If they still don't appear, get in touch below.
What devices does Sine support?
Sine runs on iPhone and iPad and requires iOS or iPadOS 26 or later.

Your data stays yours

Sine collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. Every subscription you record lives only on your device and your own iCloud, and any export is something you start and control yourself.

No personal information is gathered, sold, or shared with anyone.
